Re: Anyone Still Play COD4 Online?

Don't have my copy anymore, the only games I play now when I get some time are the ones I rent from lovefilm, other than that I'm always busy with other things.

Re: Is'nt it great when you find old stuff

When moving around at Uni a few years ago I found my handheld "Zelda: G&W" http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3237/3064907389_f83a7c6cf6.jpg Me and 'OurSteve' used to spend our entire lunchtime play in Year 3 of Junior school playing on it almost every day, I think we managed to win a few ...

Re: Something I'm working on...

Looks good to me! The only slight quibble I had was the colouring of the "HOPELESSHEROES" is similar to a lot of the background, if it was me I might put a slight black border around the text to make it stand out a little more. But that's just me, with my crappy eyesight I like things to b...

SAW: The Video Game

Played about 3 hours of this now, and here’s my condensed thought about this game; it’s pretty awesome, actually. The look, sound and feel of the game matches up to the films completely. Game-play is about 70% Resident Evil and 30% puzzle solving. You spend a lot of time wandering around the asylum ...

Re: The Book of Eli

oooooh freakin' LOVE Deja Vu! (The film, not the sensation... well, that's kinda good too I guess :p ) You're right about the "2 films of the same theme" thing, I found that weird when I saw them both is such a short space of time at the cinema. For me, "Book of Eli" was a more l...

Re: Hello :)

Welcome Shaun! Feel free to send an FR to "CoG Geekster", in case the name didn't give it away I'm one of the 'resident geeks' as Snide so lovingly put it :D I tend to have a pretty frequent turnover of games thanks to a lovefilm.com account, but I do have GOW1 in my permanent collection a...

Re: The Book of Eli

Thanks mate, I had forgotten about this film until your post made it pop up on the "new posts" list, having re-read what I wrote I remember now how good the film is and realised I never did get the BluRay of it, I'm sure it's out now so I will recify that soon! lol :)

Re: COD4 online probs

What is the spec of your PC for starters?

If the your PC is on the borderline requirement for running COD4, then running other programs at the same time is going to wreck performance across the board......

Re: Red Dead CoG

Is the game quite short / not worth playing once you've finished the 1p then? I was kinda hoping that it was a kind of "never really finished always-can-go-back kinda game" :?:
